I came here to say that Thiel wasn't South African, but found out this:
"Peter Thiel spent years of childhood in South Africa and Namibia, where his father was involved in uranium mining as part of the apartheid regime’s clandestine drive to acquire nuclear weapons." - https://www.ft.com/content/cfbfa1e8-d8f8-42b9-b74c-dae6cc6185a0
I mean I agree and was just telling someone that we can be nice but matter-of-fact about bio men playing women’s sports. We don’t have to be hateful. We can just say it.
What’s interesting is that David Sacks and Peter Thiel have different views on foreign policy. I’ve heard David Sacks not only be dovish on Ukraine but also on Israel. I found it v weird that Sacks was saying pro-pal protestors are going to be “on the right side of history” on his All-In podcast. Whereas, Planatir (Peter Thiel’s company) announced quotas for Jewish students bc of “rampant anti-Semitism”. I want someone to exploit these differences and make them reconcile this.
The Republicans are not nominating Trump in 2028. He is ineligible and they aren't going to risk removal from the ballot or a ruling that he is ineligible, allowing a Democrat to win.
Democrats need to stop pretending that there are no guardrails. There are still plenty of them.

Had no idea!

Two nerds and a podcast :)
